"Greed is good" has been the GOP brand for nearly 50 years since Laffer scribbled his curve on a napkin for Cheney and Rummy. Keeping factories open just to keep workers happy sounds like socialism and welfare to me.

I worked for Hughes at one point, which was part of GM, so technically I qualify for some kind of ex-employee discount (or did back before 2008 anyways). Of course I've never owned, and don't want to own, a GM car.

If Trump was what he claimed to be in 2016, he'd just tariff the fuck out of all GM's vehicles they re-import back into the United States.

If you want to move production to the third world, then you should get treated like a foreign corporation. Tariff anything like that.
