Formula 2 driver Anthoine Hubert has been killed in a crash at the Belgian Grand Prix, motorsport's governing body the FIA has said.

The Frenchman, who was 22, suffered a huge impact from the car of American Juan Manuel Correa at about 170mph at the Raidillon swerves.

An FIA statement said that Hubert was taken to the medical centre after the incident, and died at 18:35 local time.

Correa was taken to Liege hospital and is in a stable condition, the FIA said.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

He was predicted to be a future F1 driver.
There are only 20 seats in F1 and far more drivers ''good enough'' than available positions.
Maybe you should be asking if the driver that hit him was good enough?
He was American and we all know corners are not your speciality.

I know there are only 20 seats... my uncle is one of the driving forces for safety for the F1 racers in particular. He created Impact Safety Systems.

No, he helped design the technology we are using for TCP/IP though. My uncle though, his name is R.J Valintine, look it up yourself.

I'm writing a book. It's enough for me for now.
