Yeah. But there's really nothing that special about the drone sub, apart from being a nuclear drone sub. Submarines have been using nuclear propulsion for a long time. It was probably the 9M730 Burevestnik engine they were tinkering around with if I had to guess.
Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly possible to make a 50-100 megaton nuclear drone sub, but it's nowhere near as useful as other means to deliver a warhead. It's extremely impractical, and there's very few scenarios, compared to other nuclear delivery systems, where it could be used.
