Can the British communist not indulge in his submission daddy fantasies in peace?pineapplemike wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 3:43 pmwell, except for the good guy with a gun that subdued the bad guy with a gun. that's seriously your take away from that story? the problem here lies with the police officer that shot the good guy with a gun, not with whatever fallacy you think has been exposedMontegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 2:50 pmhttp://www.fox32chicago.com/news/crime/ ... police-sayWhen police arrived at the scene, Roberson was holding "somebody on the ground with his knee in his back, with his gun in his back," witness Adam Harris said.
"Everybody is screaming out, 'He's a security guard,'" Harris said. "Just waiting on the police to get there. I guess when the police got there, they probably thought he was one of the bad guys, cause he had his gun on the guy and they shot him."
Roberson was licensed to carry a firearm, Ansari said.
Charges were pending Monday against the man who investigators believe fired the initial shots during a dispute. His name has yet to be released, and he remained hospitalized Monday, Anasari said.
Investigators said the initial gunfire was reported around 4 a.m. An officer responding from nearby Midlothian encountered and shot "a subject with a gun," Midlothian Police Chief Daniel Delaney said in a statement. The person was later identified as Roberson.
No details have been released about the officer. Roberson, who was black, was the only person killed in the shooting. The other four people who were shot suffered wounds that weren't considered life-threatening, Anasari said.
Kinda exposes the good guy with a gun fallacy.
the logical conclusion of your fallacy results in police being the only good guys with guns. and we can clearly see in this story how fallacied your fallacy is, because the police officer shot the guy anyway

Closest thing to a gun thread I could find in the first few pages...
I'm not a gun owner, but this is the perfect story for the NRA to use as an example of why owning a gun can be a good thing.
South Carolina woman fatally shoots escaped inmate who broke into her home
The woman found the armed inmate outside her bedroom door.

BREAKING NEWS: El Paso police confirm 18 people dead inside El Paso Walmart, death toll likely higher
dumbassInitial reports of suspect of the El Paso, Texas Walmart shooting, writing in manifesto that he “In general, supports the Christchurch shooter and his manifesto” and that “This attack is a response to the
Hispanic invasion of Texas"
update:
BREAKING: It’s now being reported that the alleged manifesto of the El Paso gunman, claiming he agreed with Christchurch mosque shooter, was a hoax

Yet another case of Muslim terrorism genociding the west.
Oh wait, it was another mass murdering white man.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Another shooting - minister in Church today went on a rant about how evil Senate is for not passing more gun control - no discussion about the dangers of an unarmed population- don’t even know if that thought crossed their mind even once. We are headed for defacto appeal of the 2nd amendment- and we’re all going to live at the pleasure of the state.

Humanity (more than the average now) does not deserve liberty. Still shocked at how dumb the thought processes of most people are.
