He works enough to do a good job, whether you want to give all the credit to the staff that he chose to delegate to or not. If all you can do is criticize his personality, that's a way above average politician right there, because most politicians have a lot more substantive things worth criticizing.
Load of postmodernistic relativizing. He is a below average politician if he cannot tell the difference between reality and fantasy, if he has a pathological need to lie himself more importantly than he is - despite everyone around him knowing he is bullshitting. Leading a country is about more than having the right politics. If you're a senile wreck who can't deal with reality, you need to hand over (or have handed over) the reins of your political project to someone more capable.
Who is more capable? Not seeing them, I only see a bunch of people far less capable than him. Grade against his competition, not a mythical unicorn who will never get elected.

Just because he tells lies to make himself look better doesn't mean he can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy, it just rubs you the wrong way and you are lashing out.

If your biggest criticisms of him are personality based, he must be doing a pretty good job, if that's the best you got.
He should have invaded more countries like W and BHO, then they would love him.

I call going and destroying Libya with no intention of even trying to help set up some kind of working government, then going home and polishing your noble peace price fucking pathological.

I'd argue most people are living in a virtual reality right now constructed by media and their hyper-insulated social network circles. Trump is no different.

The more "news" you consume the more you live there too. Trump allegedly spends substantial hours watching Fox News. Imagine what kind of world he thinks he lives in.

What Trump perceives as reality allows him to be pretty damn successful, so he's doing something right.

A lot of the hatred of Trump goes back to monopolization of power.
The insiders have a club, Trump wasn't in it. Their club gets to pick who is POTUS and who is not. They are pissed because America chose someone outside their club.

Everyone is more capable. And Trump himself would "never" get elected, either... throw enough money and a good PR campaign at them, and perhaps Trump's endorsement, and it's no longer a unicorn.

Oh yes, I'm positively hateful. I must check my hate privilege and not "lash out" because that victimizes... government, I guess? Dude, I hate the guy's personality because he is weak and he flaunts his weakness in a position of power and authority. It's power without responsibility. Yeah, it rubs me the wrong way when people in positions of power can't handle that power. I hated his whining victimhood bullshit during the election, too.
Fame is not flattery. Respect is not agreement.
