That's the gumball one isn't it ?Zlaxer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 12:43 pmSee the video by the Swedish scientist whose ted talk I (as well as someone else on here who I forget) posted about. Population will fall - assuming that the third world is smart enough to realize they don't need 10 kids when all 10 are likely to survive.
The present boom is bc terd world counties have cultures of lots of kid bc they expect 7/10 to die.
It's a great visual display of the numbers.

The "population boom" was not a birth boom but delayed death as a result of vaccines and antibiotics. More old people is not really a pop boom.

Parents suck, all children should be thrown in group homes so they won't be given "unregulated" food.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 5:20 amJust asking for evidence that unregulated food is demonstrably safer than school canteen food.StCapps wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 5:15 amSee can't possibly be safer, it's not heavily regulated by the government. Like clockwork, always assumes regulation is the answer.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 5:12 am
Go on then, demonstrate it.
Don't forget to allow for the numbers of school meals served safely every day due to sensible food regulations like keeping meat chilled.
You'll need to compare the rates of days off due to food poisoning between those who eat pack ups and those who eat school canteen food.
You'll also have to take swabs and record bacteria levels of both.
Also, if you can show me the temp control sheets filled out by parents and compare them to the schools.
Otherwise, demonstrably is just a word man...

Man, Monty will do anything to get his hands on people's children.

I can suggest a little experiment for you.
step 1) Keep some shrimp in a warm school bag for 4 hours.
step 2) Eat it.
step 3) Record the volume of vomit and diarrhea that leave your body at high pressure over the next 48 hours.
It's shellfish
And we were talking about lunchmeat here

They're were regulated. Just no enforcement because government officials are corrupt and/or incompetent. They should've ate more shrimp, I guess.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 8:28 amWhat could possibly go wrong without govt regs?
Deep water horizon anyone?

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Can you imagine letting someone shoe horses when they haven't had basic HS algebra, physics, chemistry, etc? I mean just because people have done it for centuries without a HS diploma is no excuse for not getting the government involved now... The more govt regulation the better, right Monte?

So, is he right? and what happens? martial law? Bread Lines?
The Federal Government is 25% in the hole right now on a budget basis -- that is, it is spending 25% more than it can afford. Every dollar of deficit spending has produced less than a dollar of GDP since roughly 2001. This is an exponentially-accelerating series, and we are now in the terminal phase of it.
My rough extrapolation is 2024 before it all goes to Hell in a bad way.

He's probably being optimistic about the bubble staying up until 2024. Nobody in federal city is looking beyond November 2020, which is just as well I reckon.
