Does this food gestapo job come with government pay and benefits?
I could spend the day at people's houses, eating all the leftover turkey to save the children.

Think of all the children he'll save, truly heartwarming.

If they are doing it right, your school should be recording the temps of every dish that hits the hotplate.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 9:03 amThen why aren’t they inspecting every meal we feed our kids? We should have regulators in every home, to ‘protect children’ from their parents.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:21 amWhy the emphasis on "outbreak" ?
The school is responsible for the safety of all it's students while on the premises.
If parents are sending kids to school with unsafe sandwiches then the school would be in dereliction of its duty of care if it just let the kids eat them.
What kids eat at home is obviously not the responsibility of the school. What they eat at school is.
Now the reason govt inspected aren't checking every meal is cost. What they should be doing is random inspections to make sure the school is operating best practices.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That's right, so the state should ban pens and pencils - maybe large felt-tipped pens are ok, but pens and pencils can poke your eye out! The school is responsible for your safety! (My grandfather lost eyesight in one eye due to this, in elementary school - in the late 1910s, why isn't the government regulating this yet?!? It's been over a century!!)Montegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:21 amThe school is responsible for the safety of all it's students while on the premises.
Come to think of it, the school cafeteria has forks, you could fall with one of those, even a plastic one, and put an eye out or stab yourself. We need to ban those utensils! After all, even if the chance is small, the school is responsible for your safety!
And are you aware that shoelaces sometimes come untied, and kids could trip and fall into their locker, or into a hard object like a door, desk, or chair?!? They could be seriously injured! We need to get rid of desks, doors, and chairs, or spend lots of money to pad every surface with 4cm of foam rubber, and of course we need to ban laced shoes from school... Because the school is responsible for your safety!
And what if two kids have sex on school grounds, one has a STD (acquired outside school) and the other contracts it? The school must police every child, every minute they are there, maybe provide them with full body suits that zip on when they enter and are padlocked and can't be unlocked/unzipped until the end of the day, constant GPS tracking, because after all the school is responsible for their safety.
Where exactly do you draw the line?
Let's not forget we've already raised a bunch of kids to college age that require "safe spaces" with coloring books and puppy dogs, just in case they hear some "bad words". Obviously schools aren't doing enough yet to fully coddle... er, "protect" them.
And none of this takes into account potential natural disasters... I mean in CA what if a massive 9.3 earthquake flattens the school on those kids? Or a dam breaks and the school is in the path of the floodwaters and everyone drowns? Or a freak F5 tornado rips the school apart? I mean, the school is responsible for that right?
Obviously the easiest and most logical solution in that case is to simply get the govt out of schooling altogether - no schooling, no responsibility, no liability. It's the sure-fire way to protect yourself from any liability - just don't do it in the first place.

And if you don't pay that government school, they're going to take your kids away from you!

This is what we get for feeding people, giving them drugs and raising their life expectancy above 23.

See the video by the Swedish scientist whose ted talk I (as well as someone else on here who I forget) posted about. Population will fall - assuming that the third world is smart enough to realize they don't need 10 kids when all 10 are likely to survive.
The present boom is bc terd world counties have cultures of lots of kid bc they expect 7/10 to die.

There are diminishing returns, though. If you really want to kill a man, assign to him, at no cost to him, a full-time doctor.
If you want to limit population growth of a demographic, give them free healthcare, whereby healthcare it is understood as western medicine.
