Kennedy actually fought in World War Two.

Eisenhower was never actually in combat.

Ad Hominem.

Maybe I was raised different in the US but I consider it poor form to talk bad about a prior president unless he was one that I disagree with on ideological or policy issues.

Kennedy fought in the war. Ike won the war. Singlehandedly I might add. Its lonely at the top.

Well Truman deserves a little credit.
Truman and Eisenhower were close friends and Eisenhower was one of his closest confidants.

Until Eisenhower ran for President, then they became political enemies.

None the less, the Truman Doctrine was influenced by Eisenhower too.

Ike was NATO SACEUR under Truman.

A little credit. Like I said, over 90% Eisenhower, at least.

Just sayun. Kennedy was a rich kid who volunteered and was almost killed in combat.

Eisenhower was a staff weenie who was awarded a Disntiguised Service Medal for his staff work.

In America. In 1924.

Between the two of them, Kennedy is the warrior, Eisenhower is the REMF.

Truman more than 10% I think.

Truman set a lot of shit in motion too, Ike was just of the same mindset and doubled down.

Like the NSA for example.

Truman created it, but Ike was in on that as Army Chief of Staff, and then Ike gave the NSA carte blanche.

It didn't even officially exist at the time, it was blacker than black, and they listened to everything.

What would you put Truman's percentage at?

I don't know about percentage, but the Truman Doctrine is the Cold War in a nutshell.

Ike just followed along with the program, expanding it as he went.

Truman starts the Cold War.

Within that context, Eisenhower concocts the Domino Theory.

Ascribe what percentage as you will.
