Dan Fonda should have been sent to the internment camp. Come to think of it, he was against WW2 as well, so it actually would have been fitting. lolSmitty-48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:16 pmBear in mind, if we had allowed the college professors and liberal media to run amok in World War Two?
We would have lost that war too.
The loss in Vietnam was entirely due to failing to control the liberal media and their academic enablers.
FDR himself would have had them all rounded up and thrown in jail.

That's how you won World War Two, America was under martial law from 1941 onwards.heydaralon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:21 pmDan Fonda should have been sent to the internment camp. Is it possible to reduce the trend we have in this country of general apathy, cynicism, and degeneracy? Do you think that America will get more nationalistic as time goes on, or less?

Less. There is no nation left to be nationalistic about.

I don't know, like I say, Vietnam changed everything, I don't know how you could get back to 1965.heydaralon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:28 pmIs it possible to reduce the trend we have in this country of general apathy, cynicism, and degeneracy? None the less, I think that those Americans actually had it right in 1965.
America didn't lose the war, McNamara and Co. lost the war. Johnson lost his nerve and chickened out.

It's like Rolling Thunder.
Rolling Thunder was escalating coercion.
But the Vietnamese were dug in so deep, the mission required total annihilation.
Which did happen.
Except by the time America started really pounding them to the breaking point, the media had already declared the war lost, and the public bought it.

Re: 2020 election
It was only two years before the media declared defeat.
1965 to 1967.
That wasn't long enough to let the effects set in.
And more soldiers were killed in the withdraw phase after 1967.
Most of the American casualties were suffered because America quit, not because America was going too hard.
The media collapsed the morale, then everything went to shit and the causalities went through the roof.

Bear in mind, this was not an accident, this was not a coincidence.
This was the North Vietnamese strategy.
The North Vietnamese said "the side whose soldiers question their orders less, will win"
The North Vietnamese strategy was to co-opt the American media.
To make American soldiers question their orders.
That's how they won.

Dan told me it was unwinnable. Man, I wish Trump dropped like 20 ICBMs on Vietnam as payback for their psyops causing us to lose our defensive war in IndoChina. America only fights defensive wars, and its fucked that these zipperheads poisoned our media.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 5:02 pmBear in mind, this was not an accident, this was not a coincidence.

The B-52's were pushing the NVA and NLF to the breaking point.
The North Vietnamese were getting their asses handed to them on the battlefield, twenty to one.
It was literally Psyops. They won the psychological war, and it was only the Hanoi Dan's who made it possible.
