Re: Brexit
Thanks for the link, I'd been meaning to sign the petition.Otern wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 12:45 pmhttps://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/241584
They responded. And it's the proper response.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Monte already is. Poor guy posts on here with an EU censor looking over his shoulder, ensuring that he commits no thought crime or hate speech. These offenses carry a 500 pound fine and 10 years hard labor in the UK gulag manufacturing muslim prayer mats.California wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 6:32 amAnd that's another example of how you're losing your self-determination.

Re: Brexit
No problem, but thought you'd already signed it? Takes less time and effort than arguing about it here at least.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 1:03 pmThanks for the link, I'd been meaning to sign the petition.Otern wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 12:45 pmhttps://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/241584

They are beautiful, real works of art and top craftmanship. They shimmer in the light, over a thousand stitches per square inch.
Generally, they are made by children when they get home from school (in Egypt anyway). Small, nimble fingers and sharp eyesight makes kids better than adults at it and it brings extra money into poorer households.
25 years ago when I was there the smallest ones (about 1'x2') cost about £90 so as a backpacker on a tight budget I couldn't afford to buy one but I wish I could have.

Re: Brexit
Islam hasn't caught on quite the same way in the American South as it has in the UK, so no they don't have those yet. However, you can buy a Manchester United prayer mat that was hand signed by one of the original 9/11 attackers in London. Monte spent quite a pretty penny on one, and it has earned him the respect of his fellow madrassa members, as well as serving as a conversation piece for his Fabian society parties...
