I got it good. It's true. Still, the weather is a pain in the ass.
It's absolutely paradise here, from May to September, but outside of that, it can go Siberia on you without warning.

I spent my fair share of time in the snow. Colorado, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Fuck that, I am done with snow. 2 season (at best) person, right here!Smitty-48 wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:41 pm I got it good. It's true. Still, the weather is a pain in the ass.

I actually like full on winter. Dry cold. Powdered snow.Haumana wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:45 pmI spent my fair share of time in the snow. Colorado, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Wife's Dad was that. That's a whole other kettle of fish.Smitty-48 wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:40 pm
My Da was the opposite. Defiant. Rule Breaker. Push the envelope. Explore the danger zone.
Just make sure you don't get busted, just make sure your kids are taken care of, but once that is done, party time.
Dry is cool. But mud during the day and ice at night sucks bawls.Smitty-48 wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:46 pm

What I don't like is March and April. I call it Sprinter. Worst of all worlds. Cold, grey, just ice, no snow.
Us too.Smitty-48 wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:48 pm It's actually pretty nice right now. We are catching a break from Sprinter at the moment.
Still cold tho. It's not margarita season yet.
I just bought an air fryer and a Berkey. Wife will shit a brick if I bring another appliance into our house right now. On the list though.Smitty-48 wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 7:53 pm Margarita maker. I highly recommend it. Pure agave tequila, triple sec, lime sauce, just add ice, presto.
