You bring up soda tax or soda restrictions in New York that liberals put up, I bring up blue laws that conservatives put up. Neither side is not guilty in that.

If we're talking about live and let live, let's define terms here.

Live and let live is a belief that as long as you're not hurting anyone, you should to be free to do whatever you like.

American culture has lots of room for a lot of sub-cultures. Louisiana isn't going to be the same as Missouri, New York isn't going to be the same as Mississippi, Washington State not the same as West Virginia.

So furnish us a list of liberal/progressive/leftist voices being deplatformed from Universities and social media. Show us that list of people fired from their jobs for holding progressive views. Show us the liberal representative with 92% negative media coverage for two years running. Show us the fake hate crimes conservatives have hoaxed, again and again, that received an outpouring of sympathy from the media before the truth was revealed. Show me the progressives being attacked again and again for wearing Obama gear or rainbow flags.

Show us the parity between the two sides, since you believe your own side to be so live-and-let-live. Because I see very little live-and-let-live coming from the left. I see a lot of anger, hatred, vengeance, doxxing, violence, and rioting coming from them every time they don't get their way. I see lies, fake rape accusations, fake lynching accusations, and threats of putting people on "lists" when others don't knuckle under to them. I see endless investigations, character assassination, and threats to destroy the entire American system - from abolishing border control to abolishing the electoral college, when they don't win.

The issue here is that the closest thing America has to Nazis at any meaningful numbers are the Alt-Right, since many of them are national socialist to some degree. Alt-Right rallies see maybe a few hundred people, at best.

The left now is overwhelmingly Marxist. Feminism is cultural Marxism. A pussy hat march sees hundreds of thousands of Marxists. Black Lives Matter is Marxist. Bernie supporters are Marxist. AOC supporters are Marxist.

We have somewhere around a dozen or so committed and open Marxists in Congress. We have zero national socialists in any government capacity.

Calling people "Nazis" is fucking lazy because there aren't actually that many Nazis out there. Calling people Marxists when they are obviously Marxists is not lazy. It's the truth.
