Re: Socialism
The reason I hate progressives, is because they came here, a country which was founded on individualism, and want to change it against my wishes. If they had stayed contained to Russia, I wouldn't give a shit - they can do what they please....but they couldn't stay contained...because socialism is a disease that needs a host. So they suck the blood out of the working class...fucking slave masters...

I'd rather see a simple qualifying test. Some arithmetic, some civics, and some current events. No voting if you can't find Ukraine & Venezuela on a map. You'd be surprised how many people couldn't tell you the number of senators.Zlaxer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 12:46 pmRestrict the vote with a voting tax - that's the answer.
Voting tax totally constitutional - Constitution originally limited voting to land owners - the progressive changed this by duping the people in to believing that society was changing to the point where most people didn't own land anymore because we were transitioning away from an agrarian society.
Voting tax would reinstate the guard against proles voting.
Poll: Only 46 percent of Americans know each state has two U.S. senators

Seems like a good vid - problem is that its an OWG who women and minorities wont give the time of day - need to get a black female as the narrator.
Got this as a youtube ad on a device that doesnt even know who I am - have fiscal conservatives finally realized they need to get their message out in a better format?

Great defense of Churchill in NY times

Churchill, notes Roberts, was able to rouse Britain “because the battles and struggles of the Elizabethan and Napoleonic wars were then taught in schools, so the stories of Drake and Nelson were well known to his listeners.” That also cannot be said of us today. In Britain, a 2008 survey found that 20 percent of teenagers thought Churchill was a fictional character but 58 percent thought Sherlock Holmes was real.

Yes, holy shit. Whatever your viewpoint, never forget that many if not most people are stupendously ignorant, even if they're not technically idiots. My favorite often posted clip from the early 90's is that the majority of polled Americans didn't know the earth goes around the sun once a year. How can that person have an informed opinion about anything having to do with science?

Ask someone why the earth has summer and winter sometime.
Great odds they'll tell you it has to do with whether the Earth is close to the sun or far away.

That dude Andrew Roberts wrote a biography on Napoleon. I have wanted to read it for quite some time. Thanks for posting this article, Punky.brewster wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 11:43 amGreat defense of Churchill in NY times

The average global temp is about 4F hotter at aphelion than at perihelion.
We actually warm up a little at the point in our solar orbit farthest from the Sun because that is the northern hemisphere's summer, most of the land mass is in the northern hemisphere, and continents radiate heat more than oceans.
There is even solar radiation inequality.
