If fluff without substance rates “good”, then that article was great.
As a source for an outsider to gain solid insight into the situation, that article was severely lacking.

QED.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

All the journalist said was the yellow vests aren’t left or right, they’re all angry for different reasons, and they don’t agree upon a solution that addresses their various issues.
That’s a textbook “Roll out the water tanks and chill those fuckers out” problem.
If they don’t agree on a problem or a solution then all you can do is subjugate them or wait for them to march you to the gallows.

He also challenged the perception, that some here have, that this discontent is all about globalisation and immigration.DBTrek wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 5:07 pm/shrug

Granted, your disapproval may have stemmed from my approval of the article. After all, Liberals are never, ever, ever right about anything.
Have you at least learned now that Macron's fuel tax increase had nothing to do with raising money to support Socialist policies?

This may shock you - but the absolute lack of information on that topic didn’t convince me of your claims any more than the last twenty articles which also did not address your claims.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 5:31 pmHave you at least learned now that Macron's fuel tax increase had nothing to do with raising money to support Socialist policies?

It doesn't shock me at all that you refuse to accept the truth when it counters your rigid dogma.DBTrek wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 5:46 pmThis may shock you - but the absolute lack of information on that topic didn’t convince me of your claims any more than the last twenty articles which also did not address your claims.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 5:31 pmHave you at least learned now that Macron's fuel tax increase had nothing to do with raising money to support Socialist policies?
No matter how many times myself and numerous others have told you that Macron's policies are the polar opposite of Socialism you still stick your head in the sand and chant ''la la la I'm not listening''. The ultimate proof of your rigid dogmatism and unwillingness to accept a truth which contradicts your mistaken preconceptions.
As Confucius said,
He who arrives at the fountain of knowledge with a full cup has nothing to learn.

The man (Macron) is not the state (France).
The man doesn’t need income from taxes to keep programs afloat. The state does. The socialist programs and industries of France need those taxes to survive. Macron doesn’t.
Not sure why this eludes you.
