I googled Banners French Riots Yellow Vests and there is a wide variety of groups participating, Antifa, Anarchists, FREXIT, Trump Supporters, Unions, Anti-Macron, Anti-Tax, I see no common theme. Therefore I view it as a wide cross section. The majority due appear to be based on economic activity.

Common Theme: People tired of being the collective cockholsters of the French Govt/EU.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:37 pmI googled Banners French Riots Yellow Vests and there is a wide variety of groups participating, Antifa, Anarchists, FREXIT, Trump Supporters, Unions, Anti-Macron, Anti-Tax, I see no common theme. It's funny how Monty totally forgot a week ago when he was running with the lugenpresse's last propaganda meme: "far-right protesters". LMFAO

So they are protesting cuts in welfare funding and tax breaks for the rich and big business.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:25 pmWhere's your evidence to back that opinion up?Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:22 pmThat's probably why you don't understand what's going on there.
You are projecting your agenda onto a bunch of anarchists who take great joy in fighting the police and burning shit down.
The real protesters wanting to peacefully demonstrate against Macron's economic policies have had their protest hijacked and nobody is discussing the issues any more only the violence of the extremists.
To be honest, I'm surprised at your reaction to this. I never had you down as a mob rule kind of guy.
After allThose cars being set alight are private property and those businesses which have been closed down employ the working classes you proport to support.only the left use violence to achieve their aims.
You think the globalists are going to pay for this or the French taxpayers?
What I've seen is widespread protesting against the Macron government based on economic and tax policy that hits working class folks the hardest.
Those are Macron's economic policies and you are supporting the protester's use of violence to overturn them.
One more question Carlus seeing as how you didn't answer my last one.
Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist party?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Monte - would you ever consider violence an appropriate response to State malfeasance?

Yes.
To oppose real tyranny.
Opposing unpopular tax policies does not reach the standard of opposing real tyranny though.
Peaceful protest and the ballot box are where you demonstrate your opposition to issues of this nature.
Again, I refer to the almost universal opposition here on the MHF to the widespread protests and minor violence of the ''not my president'' protest two years ago.
Imagine the outrage which would have occurred if 4 people had died and tens of millions of dollars worth of private property had been destroyed opposing the policies of the democratically elected President.
''You lost get over it'' was the response from the same people now saying ''the people are being ignored''.

Define real tyranny.
Peaceful protests and the ballot box do have limits to their effectiveness. The ballot box said ‘Brexit.’ Where are you now?

Where did I say that?Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 1:53 pmSo mob rule every time government opposition doesn't get its way?
The ballot can work. Doesn’t mean it always does.
If you want to be someone who relies only on the vote and kumbaya chanting, then you’re the kind of person that government LOVES.
Again, what’s real tyranny, Montel?

You do understand that Globalism is 21st C. crony capitalism/mercantilism. All these fucking Globalists are beholding to their own versions of the East India Trading Co.; rather than the people of their own nations.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:51 pmSo they are protesting cuts in welfare funding and tax breaks for the rich and big business.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:25 pmWhere's your evidence to back that opinion up?Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:22 pm

No, I am not now and have never been, nor will I ever be a member of the Communist Party or any other fucking bunch of Filthy Collectivists.
Now, a question from me. Do you now or have you ever understood how Globalism works ?
