Funny how French leftists are all in support of "doing something" about global warming/climate change...

...until it hits their wallets, then suddenly they're in the streets burning cars (because that's gonna help the environment ).

It's almost as if they didn't understand who was ultimately gonna be stuck paying for it.

The protesters are not leftist - for the most part - they're suburbanites tired of subsidizing the terd-world cities.

What I find interesting is that this riot/protest is not a left-right thing. It's a regional thing. The protesters are all over the place politically but just oppose these repressive globalist policies based on lies.

It's possible that the marriage between globalists and Marxists is on the rocks, at least in France..

It is an interesting event in many ways. I guess because of our country's almost predictable left/right standoffs that initially I thought of this that way. At least until my brain couldn't discern which side was the left and which the right. The more I learn about this the most fascinating it becomes.
