3. Start automating agricultural jobs that illegals take. If we can get robots picking lettuce, we reduce our risk of future ecoli outbreaks, and we kill the industries that illegals flock to. I'm even fine with giving farms that employ robotic technology tax breaks and even greater subsidies than they currently recieve. If we kill the jobs, the illegals will be in serious trouble.
Glad you brought this up. Everyone assumes that humans must pick these vegetables.
There have been so many powerful people get rich off the illegal immigrant industry that they will fight mechanization of a lot of these farming processes.

I would love to see a grassroots movement following the pattern of micro breweries and distilleries sweep the nation based on local food production. There's no reason your local town doesn't have a dairy and cremery, for example. Every community should have local greenhouses and farms targeted at produce production. It's by far the most sustainable model. There is no reason Kalamazoo should be shipping in berries from California.

Good point. Shut down illegal immigration and transition to local food production if for no other reason than to fuck with California.

I like this solution. Food is artificially cheap.

Food is artificially cheap, it wouldn't surprise me if the entire produce production of CA is subsidized by the Federal Government.

It pretty much is through big agra subsidies and non-enforcement of immigration law. The true cost of food somehow has to factor in rampant crime from immigrants, welfare to immigrants (welfare for people who work is a labor subsidy), and probably many other costs spread across society.

Daralon had to pay a hefty cost for "cheap" foid when an illegal totalled his car, for instance.

We thought it was just a Meme, but there is an author running around saying Tolkein's portrayal of Orcs is racist.
Discussing the Orcs in his own Tolkien-inspired story, Duncan expressed, “A lot of these creatures that were raised out of the earth had not a great deal of choice in the matter of what to do. I have this very complicated sense of the politics of all that.”...………

It is easier to demonize one’s opponents than to try to understand them and to understand the complex forces that are leading to, for example, refugees trying to cross the southern border legally or illegally,” he proclaimed. “It’s easier to build walls and demonize them as ‘scum’.”

I wonder if he is able to reflect upon his own words, though, and consider how he demonizes the right.

I disagree with his premise. Demons are the first to call for the end of demonization.

I will demonize the fuck out of progressives because they really are that evil. Case in point: https://pjmedia.com/faith/ex-muslim-chr ... ZOjuix52SY

Of course they want an end to "demonization". I am sure rapists want an end to people using the rape word. Murderers probably want an end to talk about violent crime too.

That would be good too, because it would foster a sense of community in many cases. My grandmother had an egg route in TN, and she would deliver eggs to all her friends and neighbors. They would sometimes trade milk or other commodities they had in abundance for her eggs. It would also allow people to see and understand exactly how food is grown and processed, and hopefully it would allow towns to be far more self sufficient and more autonomous is our global and national supply chain gets fucked over by a natural distater dieases economic collapse whatever.
