It would be interesting to learn excatly what those people, the wannabe immigrants, have been told and/taught about their plan of entering the US. What are their misconceptions, about US immigration rules and rights, about how many US jobs there are available to them? How common are those misconceptions in their countries?

Imagine if the caravan could actually, legally just walk into the US as they arrived. Would there be jobs for them? Would those jobs be paid at the same wage levels American citizens worked for? IOW, those people who are cheering that caravan on.. to what extent are they doing a disservice to these migrants?

my question is where are they getting their clothes? i ask due to my own ignorance on the apparel market below the border but did she choose that shirt herself

During the Syrian refugee influx that had alot of them travelling through Denmark to get to Sweden, we saw people handing out big trash bags full of clothes, food, etc. to the refugees passing by. So my guess would be donations.

Yeah man, we have so many moronic politicians and well meaning SJW types who just think we can absorb the entire third world, and that there is no cost to a deluge of unskilled culturally alien refugees. They cheer these criminals on and encourage them to break the law and violate our Sovereignty. If I lived in a piece of shit country I'd wanna leave to. But if I got a hostile and harsh welcome, I'd stop and consider my disgusting behavior. If our leaders and society treated these people the way they deserve, with swift and unconditional deportations, and a permanent ban from American citizenship, it might cause the next wave of invaders to rethink their plan. I've said it once and I'll say it again:

Capital has decisively overtaken labor in terms of value, and this equation is unlikely to change. We are about to be dealing with a huge percentage of unemployed lower and middle class American workers via automation (to say nothing of the eventual TPP duplicate that will get pushed through Congress). We have no idea how we will absorb the unemployed. It will burn the candle at both ends. Not only will we lose the tax revenue from these workers, but they will immediately get on welfare and disability, which will cause the burden to fall on existing workers. We need more immigrants like we need AIDS. Fuck social security and medicare. Get rid of them if we can't afford it. I don't want American wages dropping down to serf level to support this ponzi scheme. I've never talked to an open borders type who had any solution to automation, yet they are fine with bringing in a bunch of lowlife thugs who don't even fucking speak English. Even Jesse Jackson and Caesar Chavez recognized the threat that unskilled illegals have to low wage workers (as did the entire left until recently). This is the kind of shit that ruins countries.

My prediction is countries with declining population growth like Japan will be best equipped to deal with this problem. In fact, it might already be too late for the west. We already have multicultural neoliberal cancer, but we don't know what stage its in. At this point, we might be able to treat it. But that can't happen if we keep getting swamped with undesirables...

Here is what should have happened 20 years ago:
1. Militarize the border. Every hundred yards put a machine gun nest. Put pressure sensors every few hundred feet to detect tunnels. Have drones with infrared patrol every inch of our border
2. Deport any illegals. Anyone caught will recieve a lifetime ban from US citizenship, regardless of whether they attempt to enter the US legally in the future
3. Start automating agricultural jobs that illegals take. If we can get robots picking lettuce, we reduce our risk of future ecoli outbreaks, and we kill the industries that illegals flock to. I'm even fine with giving farms that employ robotic technology tax breaks and even greater subsidies than they currently recieve. If we kill the jobs, the illegals will be in serious trouble.
4. Get rid of anchor baby loophole. Illegals crossing the border, ruining our country, and having a baby shouldn't get to stay. Nor should the baby. You need to have 2 American citizens as parent to become a citizen. End of story. You don't cross a line and then get to rob our taxpayers from all the welfare benefits. A constitutional convention to explicitly put this into writing would be wonderful.

That's a start. I don't get why this hasn't happened sooner.

Our GDP is almost 20 trillion dollars. We have the most powerful military on Earth. We lead the world in culture, and have a domestic market that every country on this Earth wants access to. Why are we even giving these ecoli carriers the time of day? Close the border. Start turning the screws on Mexico with our trade deals.
