Doylestown has frequent protests right in the middle of downtown. It’s a liberal bastion. Are you conservatives all in hiding or something?
At work with jobs like most conservatives. And protip, Doylestown like most county seats in PA arent nice places to live, avoid. I didn't think you meant actual doylestown borough, Doylestown township is adjacent and much nicer and certainly no bastion.
Is there a crime problem? It’s such a beautiful downtown - tons of amenities, great restaurants, a great bookstore, museums, and friendly people (although they could all be tourists for all I know). Plus it’s close to all the river towns. And low PA property taxes.

Yep, when I retire. I might as well get some of my money back - I subsidized the lower tax states for a long time. Most of them are fiscally happy to see the northeast retirees heading their way anyway - we bring money into their economy and don’t burden their school systems. Anyways, the places I’d likely move are already blue or purple.

That's great, be somewhere else after 8pm.

If you hate paying taxes, re-evaluate what you want govt to do. Don't move and ruin decent places. Florida gets a lot of shit, but all these snow bird fucks aren't helping anything. You should move to Niagara NY. They have a great Aerospace Museum. You aren't welcome anywhere else though. Seriously. And change your avatar. You never fought in the Civil War=Stolen Valor. I'll bet you didn't even paint that picture.

Wonderful. I’ve been walking around downtown after dark all fall. Now I know why I never see anyone else.

Like I said it's a county seat so everybody is either a bureaucrat or has their hands out. Good ol fashioned rent seeking. When the offices close everybody goes away.
