I didn't, but I knew he would regret it when the shoe was on the other foot. It was called the nuclear option for a reason. There was no going back. Sorry, you broke the space time continuum. They overplayed their hand as always and now they must suffer for it. If they dont how will they ever learn?
Wait until a Republican president nominates someone in a D controlled Senate. The only people who think it was a good idea for either team to pull that crap are people who can't see more than 15 minutes in the future.
In other words, almost nobody, because it seems obvious the vast majority are focused on what will make "tomorrow" better, or next week... Very few are looking at the long term, what will make things better a decade down the line, ESPECIALLY if it requires sacrifice today for an immensely better future tomorrow. Fuck that, they want what they want now, as and they want it NOW, and their cell phone is reinforcing that on an hourly basis.

"Kath is projecting her own beliefs on the average voter. She thinks that because most politicians don't represent her beliefs, that most voters aren't represented by their representatives either. She seems to refuse to consider that the average American voter simply has different beliefs than her and she is being drowned out by them while the politicians pander to them instead of her, because it wins them more votes."

It's the other way around. I'm being repeatedly told that I HAVE to pick a side. I have picked a side, just not one some people like. You keep doing you; I've no issue with it. I think blind partisanship is silly, but I realize that about 60% of the country disagrees with me. No worries.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

It's not blind, there is no perfect path. Every choice in adult life has drawbacks. When you refuse to make a choice often times one gets made for you and often times it's the one you like the least.

What the hell are we talking about? "No one thinks 15 minutes in the future?" We are talking about lifetime appointments to the federal courts here that is long term. Get your people in there as often and as much as you can. That is the short term and long term goal. Folksy witticism 0/3.

The era of Trump took the masks off. Very eye-opening.

Your blind bi-partisanship is no better. Splitting the vote for the sole reason of preventing either one from getting too much power is just as blind.

When is Capps going to learn that I'm not going to engage with him privately about forum topics. Lol...

- In response, Senator Nelson is suing to have PB votes recounted again by hand this time.
Please just go away, Bill. /sigh

I live in Broward. Shit went down a mile from Nerd during Bush/Gore silliness. He says it was nutz, ridiculous traffic; put the snow birds to shame.

Snipes needs to go; it's embarrassing.
Well that explains a lot.

Meh. It literally doesn't matter who is in office. Some minor details may change, but, the next team will be corrupt, will continue pick away at my freedom, bit by bit, will continue to grow the military, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseum.

I'm looking out for me, as does everyone else. Wall Street loves a split government, and I love my 401(K). It's an easy choice when I know that no serious changes for the better of The Governed will ever take place. I'm looking to retire in 8-12 years. That's my priority.

Prediction; in January, some sort of clown will propose they grab even more power to screw the other side. And so it goes. It's predictable and not boring at the same time.
