An ethnic American is a person of American ancestry - someone whose family has been here for hundreds of years; long enough to not be of a European ethnicity anymore.

You're just making shit up now. Hundreds of years, huh? So Columbus' ancestors are ethnic Americans by your definition. Heck, anyone who has a family member born in North America before 1818 is an ethic American. They have been here hundreds of years. At what exact point are they no longer of European ethnicity?

Too simple. IF the Dems win the House in the Midterms then the Democrat Party will continue like it is, representing only people who would harm America, but if they lose big (my guess), there's a chance for change back to something that can counter Republican ideology. MilSpecs (and me) could be the loyal opposition again. Where she's running into trouble on this forum is that today's Dems are assholes, and she hasn't stepped back from that like I have.
