It is surprising how much access they get to peoples private belongings. They rifle through some really personal stuff, sometimes pulling out personal effects of recently deceased relatives.
I guess the draw of the TV cameras get them into places where other pickers would be chased off at gun point.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I watched one not long ago where the wife set up her husband and called Mike and Frank in without letting him know they were coming. Old boy was pissed, but he gave them some access anyway.

Maybe Martin should get Frank and Mike over to look through some of his collections. An offer of a ride on his train should be a big enough hook to get the boys interested.
A mention of the forum on a show with big ratings could get a few more hits.
The show loves an excentric.

I'm up at the Secure and Remote on Ky Lake enjoying the Patriarchy Day holiday weekend, and while finishing up dinner on the deck I have MeTV going.

Colonel Blake :Goddamnit, Hot Lips, resign your goddamn comission!
Hotlips O'Houlihan : My comission... my comission... my commission...
Colonel Blake : Little more wine, my dear?
