Agreed. I am lucky to be alive, now, never having been sent to jail. It didn't hurt that my boyfriend during that time had a local cop for a father.

If what I understand of that contract the incentive to fire her isnt worth it. You might as well keep her on just to stop her from going someplace else.

They're already committed to the payout over the duration of the contract. They try to fire her, she can claim harassment of whatever and she and maybe take them over the coals for more. Probably safer to just let her contact period run out and choose not to renew it. It's only 3 years, nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Not sure anyone else would want her at this point, at least not at that price, I doubt that's even part of their thinking.

I thought it was longer than 3 years. She was supposed to get network specials as well I wonder if she is getting those. NBC news deserves every bit of this, pay prime time money for CNN ratings.

I don't think I was good enough in the sack to get my court clerk to get me out of that stuff.

But back then, the cops would safely see you home and call it good. They seemed to know that kids experimented a little while growing up and it was pretty healthy.

I did get caught in a couple of big ones though. Breaking into the beer trailer at the rodeo after midnight and turning on all the beer taps for the crowd...………… hero for the night, long time paying off the beer that was drank.
