US GDP approx $19 trillion
US National Debt $21. 4 trillion

The US government has over-spent by an amount greater than the nation produces in a year - but the problem is we aren’t taxed enough.

Martin’s a taxer.
Too bad taxing ALL of our productivity at a 100% tax rate still wouldn’t cover his government’s spending.

If only the rich paid their “fair share”.
Hahahahahahh
Whoo!

ITT: people on team republican tell an independent that there is no such thing
Yeah, that was what was in this thread. Being independent is a luxury that is quickly disappearing was the gist.
I ran as a Democrat for the U.S. House of Representatives. I've been a Democrat for 42 years, and will remain one until Dems adopt socialism in their platform, which I expect them to do by 2020, at which point I will be #walkaway, but I'm not going to the Republicans, they won't have me because I'm a Taxer. There's no place to go for Liberal OWGs. I can only hope that Trump (in the form of Republicans) defeats Democrats so bad in the Midterms that they have to return to sanity, but I don't think that's going to happen because there's a war between The Patriarchy and The Matriarchy embodied in the Parties, and women, minorities & socialists never had it so good.
Choosing Trump shouldn't be confused with choosing Republicans. I am a stick in the spokes guy. I didn't get a choice in what that stick was but when the opportunity arose I took it. I would have preferred the Perot stick back in the day but that wasn't to be.

I've always clearly stated I was a Trump guy, NOT a Republican.

Your point= you have no dog in the fight.
You haven't yet told me which party represents my interests. Which team has made a sincere effort to address my top issues? (Citations needed.) I've posted my main issues, twice, now. That's my dog. I want more freedom, less government, less spending, etc.

The two parties agree 100% on these issues, and their views are in no way, the interest of the citizenry. Voting for corruption, overspending & more government is, well, voting for corruption, overspending & more government. You can support that if those things are not important to you, but I vote in MY best interests, not yours.

Personally, I'm a liberty guy above all else. That means whatever other things I want, liberty comes first. The Marxists are by far the biggest threat to liberty. Once liberty is safe (also watch out for the oligarchy), I'll go to #2 on my list.

Now we're stuck with this circus clown for 30-40 years because both teams fucked up.

Why couldn't he nominate another Gorsuch?
Gorsuch over Kavanaugh but how is one a swamp creature the other not?

One to Yale the other Harvard by way of Columbia. Both clerked for Kennedy on the Supreme court. One was a Whitehouse staffer the other an associate with a powerful DC law firm, read, lobbyist. That same president GWB nominate them to district appeals courts, go thru Senate confirmation without incident. You got to ask yourself what makes one a swamp creature the other not?

We don't currently have much liberty. We are "allowed" to do some things, but make no mistake, no party has any interest in our liberties.

I just heard on the radio that Swetnicks Lawyer was questioned why a college girl was going to high school gang rape parties repeatedly, the lawyer said because she was researching them. :?

Well, if that's the case where's the documentation ? Where's the prof who signed off on the project? What class was it for? Was her participation research ?

One believes that our rights should come from government. The other does not.
One wants to tear the 4th to shreds. The other does not.

Etc.

I tend to listen to Judge Napolitano on these things. I find him quite rational.
