Yeah, exactly. It's like having a teenager, you drive them all over the place until you break down and buy a new car and you give them the old one.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 7:07 amNo, prohibition was first, then suffrage.clubgop wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 7:05 amIt was shortly after that they got it. It is no mere coincidence that the 18th Amendment is what it is and the 19th Amendment is what it is.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 7:02 amI don't think one of the Parties has ever been women-centric (anti-man even) before. Prohibition was a women thing, and would indicate that women had control of one of the 2 Parties at the time, but women couldn't even vote then so kind of ruins the example.

I'm not claiming a moral high ground. You are clearly a republican who thinks team R are angels while team B are assholes to be wiped from the face of the earth. I imagine you consider that position a moral high ground.Haumana wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:04 am
You can only hat them all at your own peril is my whole point. You think you hold some moral high ground but you don't. There comes a time when one has to pick a side and that time is becoming more and more thin. You can be a party of 1 but those don't usually fare well in the long run in a society especially during the shake out after a war. Oooh you were a "good" person now do you want a bullet or a noose?
We simply disagree. There's nothing wrong with that.
I am a good person, but not because of my politics. My lefty friends think I'm a right wing nut job. They think they are going to gain seats next month. I've told them repeatedly that "we're not Trump," is not a good platform, but they think everyone thinks like they do. I doubt the blue team gains enough seats to control much of anything.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

Your point= you have no dog in the fight.Kath wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:05 amWhen you can't argue my point, you call me a bitch. Nice. You have no issue when I complain about the blue team, but when I complain about the red team, I'm a bitch. Nice. Which part of "I hate them all," is so difficult for you to understand? Are you calling me a liar? I do not support the democrats. They are screeching about nonsense, just like the red team. Currently, team blue is screeching louder, but when a blue guy was in the big chair, team red was quite noisy, while team blue pretended that black Jesus was running the country.
Partisans gotta partisan... if I don't agree with a partisan 100%, it's clear I am on the other team. Such nonsense.
Denial. You are only pretending that you don't. I understand you clearly. You are still under the guise that you have grey area left to operate. I am saying that if you still do then that is a short lived position. Things aren't going to get more grey given the current environment. Who said I don't have issue with you complaining about blue team?

HAHA! Clearly? Are we using your optics as a metric to see that clearly? Yours are the end all be all in the matter? Imagine, indeed. Thanks for sharing.Kath wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:14 amI'm not claiming a moral high ground. Yeah, that was what was in this thread. Being independent is a luxury that is quickly disappearing was the gist.pineapplemike wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:26 amITT: people on team republican tell an independent that there is no such thing

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
I ran as a Democrat for the U.S. House of Representatives. I've been a Democrat for 42 years, and will remain one until Dems adopt socialism in their platform, which I expect them to do by 2020, at which point I will be #walkaway, but I'm not going to the Republicans, they won't have me because I'm a Taxer. There's no place to go for Liberal OWGs. I can only hope that Trump (in the form of Republicans) defeats Democrats so bad in the Midterms that they have to return to sanity, but I don't think that's going to happen because there's a war between The Patriarchy and The Matriarchy embodied in the Parties, and women, minorities & socialists never had it so good.Haumana wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:32 amYeah, that was what was in this thread. Re: Trump's SCOTUS
Us Government got record tax revenues this year, passed a mind-boggling huge spending budget, and has managed to spend an additional $19 Trillion beyond all the money they already receive.
But Martin’s a taxer.
Poor government, getting fucked out of money or something.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
US GDP approx $19 trillion
US National Debt $21. 4 trillion
The US government has over-spent by an amount greater than the nation produces in a year - but the problem is we aren’t taxed enough.
Martin’s a taxer.
Too bad taxing ALL of our productivity at a 100% tax rate still wouldn’t cover his government’s spending.
If only the rich paid their “fair share”.
Hahahahahahh
