Does it mean I get to keep more of my money, rent is affordable, and I’m left alone?MilSpecs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:53 amAnd if it turns red it won’t be a place where you want to live anymore. You are just the same as most of us in the affluent blue states: you get good schools, low crime rates, high salaries, beaches and state parks, fun and relatively safe cities, major medical centers, tranquil suburbs, tourist and college towns, and all the amenities money and education has come to expect. Travel and see what you get in places where it’s every man for himself. Then tell me if you want to live there. The Conservative wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 7:07 amYeah, and no matter how many time Republicans in the state go out to vote, the state is fucking blue.
I’m not yelled at for having toxic masculinity, or hit with a dildo because I’m a man, and I deserve it?
Do I have to worry about going through those towns and cities like Matpan (muderpan) or other places that have lines of homeless and drugged addicted people waiting for their treatment so they won’t do drugs?
The ones that spit on you, come up to you and cuss you because you are rich...
How about dealing with rents like mine ($2500) with nothing included ($3200) a month with normal bills go an apartment that is just under 1200 Sq feet in the suburbs?
There is a cost of “having everything”.
Honestly, give me a plot of land, a few acres to grow food on, and a semi-fast internet connection (not needed for me) and I’d be happy.
Living in Mass makes me realize one thing, an affluent blue state only works if you are rich, or poor. Be somewhere in the middle, and you get raped.
And BTW, I may be rich outside of Mass, inside it, I’m just above “living two checks before homeless”.

I’m only a yankee because of where I was born, in reality I have more in common with people in West Virginia than anywhere else.

Only if you see it as such. If it means I actually treat people with the respect given. Then yeah, it’s ironic only because you treat me like an asshole and the same is repricated.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 9:04 amChrist, the irony there. The Conservative wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 9:03 amI’m only a yankee because of where I was born, in reality I have more in common with people in West Virginia than anywhere else.
But let’s ignore that, and just assume you enjoy the asshole role you are so comfortable in.

Not to mention, Mass is true cradle of liberty.
First shots of the revolution were where? Without what happened in Mass, we wouldn’t be where we are now...

Yeah right, if its outside where all the rich people are at it is a Democrat hell hole. Try Detroit, Cleveland, 1/2 New York, any city in Jersey, downtown inner cities all over the country. Where you keep your voting livestock.MilSpecs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:53 amAnd if it turns red it won’t be a place where you want to live anymore.
