I could never be confirmed for anything by the Senate.

Sir, we have documented testimony from dozens of former Air Force personnel, including RAF personnel, that you drank so much that, at least on one occasion, you literally drank for two and a half days straight until you almost died.

--- I don't recall anything from those two days, ma'am.
Nah, it'd be fine... as long as it wasn't during a weekday.

Let's just take a drive through the degeneracy and take it all in.

Fuck it.
That's such a good movie. Fucking great actually.

And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.

I think that film is going to be remembered as a strange on in which peoples' reaction to it and their interpretation of it change dramatically between when it was released and post-collapse.

I can't believe every fucking member of the Senate Judiciary committee is so fucking clueless, and had so little legal training, that they couldn't tell what was coming. They had the vote, NO MATTER WHAT; it was a simple ignore-and-vote on Monday. Somebody had to be consciously complicit in the debacle.
It was Jeff Flake on the committee and in the larger Senate, Murkowski and Collins. Had to give her a hearing, legal schmeagal, this is politics.

Blue people are all sorts of worked up, but I can't see how Team Blue could get more galvanized to vote than they already were.

Team Red is getting all sorts of steam out of this debacle.

I don't see how Kavanaugh fails to get confirmed.

D - senators from Montana and North Dakota will lose their seats if they support the charade.

Notice how the Senators involved arent up for reelection. This was strategized and planned. Can't give a Republican incumbent cheap sympathy points.
