no mention of this story here today? some explosive claims, i know woodward's reputation is tarnished from that botched cnn story last week and white house officials have pushed back on his story but isnt it fun to speculate?

Assuming that this is true, is it good or bad that a) Trump ordered that the US military kill Assad, and b) a General ignored the elected Commander-in-Chief's order, presumably on the ground that he believed his own judgment should reign? Bonus question: is there a Deep State?
