EA paid them a boatload of money for those exclusive rights and they have massive control of content within that game. That is a great deal for them. The streaming the audience and tech ain't there for that and it undermines their television partners.

Yeah, I’ve got DirecTV Now, but they still won’t stream games on the CBS and FOX channels that I pay for and have to sit through commercials on.

Even then, I’d only get the local ones (fucking Browns).

The fact that they expect people to pay a boatload for Sunday Ticket, AND the regular dish service AND still have commercials is completely insane. There is no justification for this, in the market, or in the sport.

Unless you want to do your “capitalism” blessing again.

Well, consider that under capitalism you’re spending time writing about your frustrations on NFL broadcasts having commercials. Then think about what people surviving under non-capitalist systems are probably complaining about.
