EA paid them a boatload of money for those exclusive rights and they have massive control of content within that game. That is a great deal for them. The streaming the audience and tech ain't there for that and it undermines their television partners.SuburbanFarmer wrote: Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:58 am The fact that I still can’t stream games, or play any football game other than Madden is stunning on its own.
Completely ass backwards business sense.

Hulu live carries local broadcast stations and ESPN.
That’s all you need to watch local NFL games.
(Maybe Amazon Prime too, if they picked up Thursday night games again?)

Yeah, I’ve got DirecTV Now, but they still won’t stream games on the CBS and FOX channels that I pay for and have to sit through commercials on.DBTrek wrote: Mon Sep 10, 2018 2:12 pm Hulu live carries local broadcast stations and ESPN.

Even then, I’d only get the local ones (fucking Browns).
The fact that they expect people to pay a boatload for Sunday Ticket, AND the regular dish service AND still have commercials is completely insane. There is no justification for this, in the market, or in the sport.
Unless you want to do your “capitalism” blessing again.

Well, consider that under capitalism you’re spending time writing about your frustrations on NFL broadcasts having commercials. Then think about what people surviving under non-capitalist systems are probably complaining about.
Capitalism blesses itself.
