Re: BIG Holiday Thread
Happy Football Day, you misanthropes.
All of our teams have perfect seasons, and are headed to the super bowl.
Please join me in the Football Day Bear Prayer.
Our Coach who art in Halas
Hallowed be thy Hall.
Thy will be done, thy games be fun
On the field, as they are on the board.
Give us this day our daily thrills
And decline our penalties,
As we decline penalties against us.
And lead us not to the off-season,
But deliver us from the Packers.
In the name of Ditka, Halas, and Soldier Field. Bear down.

And lead us not to the off-season,
But deliver us from the Packers.

Re: BIG Holiday Thread
I've given up the Holiday as I've matured, much the same way that I have given up Easter Bunnies. In the same way, that I lost the illusion of the Easter Bunny, the thrill is gone. There is no getting it back.
While I still enjoy the occasional chocolate bunny if available, I'm not going looking for colorful eggs anymore, I am not anxiously awaiting the bunnies arrival or the thrill of the game to see who gets the most eggs.

My football team is currently leading the Championship. I suspect you are talking about something else though...SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 7:50 amHappy Football Day, you misanthropes.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I don’t believe in Santa Claus, and I’m unsure about Jesus, but I still enjoy Christmas. It’s about the spirit of the thing. Doesn’t need to be justified.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:11 amI've given up the Holiday as I've matured, much the same way that I have given up Easter Bunnies. Just remember the good old days when you could sit in a sports bar all day and scream at the tv with your buddies.

Nope, never seen that before.
You would have thought someone would have pointed out the wardrobe malfunction to her...

Adult Easter egg hunts apparently are great contact sports these days.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:11 amI've given up the Holiday as I've matured, much the same way that I have given up Easter Bunnies. German pissed Brit, Italian and Australian Tourists are sexualizing traditional Oktoberfest costumes
The images are truly shocking

Cultural leaders believe much of what is being worn is becoming more and more like a porno version of the buxom dress called the dirndl.
