The editor’s note on the Op-Ed makes me think it can’t be Trump:

The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure...

Makes me think it isn’t any of the big name figures, since the NYT would sell most of them out in a heartbeat.

We're witnessing the unraveling of the republic - Trump gets removed over this, then a good chunk of the population is going to loose faith that the system is even remotely fair.....which means they won't "buy into the system" any more....making violence seem more and more like the only way to defend their interests....

It's really weird the way the left lemmings are behaving....I have a close friend who keeps sending me CNN and NTY articles about how shitty and racist Trump is...but when I ask for citations - he admits there are no hard facts....yet he maintains Trump is destroying the country....so I ask what policies specifically has been raciest or bad - no reply. It's like logic is completely irrelevant.

That's why I feel the rise of the left is unstoppable....we're seeing what we know to be true....most of the human population is too stupid to protect their own liberty....they run to any populist at a whim without considering the consequences....

No man - the "progressives" are making big gains....the fact that Socialism is even being considered as a viable solution shows you how far things have gone.....we're going to have a majority of the house and senate who want open borders and bigly free gibs...thats it man...system will implode under financial stress...Middle America is already being financially ruined in high tax states...they can't afford the taxes and can't sell their homes above what they paid for...they're fucked man....fucked...and taxes are only going to go up....with wages going down....
