If people are willing to pay that, what's wrong with it? There's a sucker born every minute, as the saying goes.

There's people paying way more than that for real estate in San Fran with people shitting in the street and leaving used needles around. If you're stupid enough to buy into it, whatever. Me, I'd choose to buy one of those beach houses with no plumbing instead, it's far cheaper and if someone shits on my porch I can just shovel it out for high tide to take care of.
