It was always so. Think of the tricoteuses.

Re: America Ain’t That Great?
It’s a fine line Hastur between unfettered capitalism that gave us the Rockefeller’s, Morgan’s, and Carnegie’s who made more money than the gov’t. And during the Depression those mostly phony WPA programs under Roosevelt kept money circulating and people from starving.
Capitalism knows no moderation. Capitalism devours anything and everyone just for the stock to go up a half a point. We still need a safety net that socialism can provide. We need socialism to maintain a military devoid of mercenary tyrants. Unfortunately our gov’t is purposely slow moving by the constitution where we are in the lightning fast digital world.
Those people in Silicon Valley aren’t doing this for the greater good. There’s nothing altruistic what they have wrought. So when the next proverbial “Triangle Street Fire” happens we will finally break them down into smaller pieces and new growth will take over old monopoly and oligopolies.
So yeah you definitely know and lived under Socialism far better than me, but in the US socialism is a boogey-man’s term unless it’s your last hope.

Feminist literature and gender studies.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 4:23 amThe Socialist disease is women; not all of them, but a lot. Where are they being indoctrinated with this stuff? What classes do they go to that men don't? What social structure affects girls in this way?
They're indoctrinated in our educational system - women can do everything a man can do, and probably "better", and men can't do anything women used to (or not well anyways) and are only good to be victims of their derision. Plus Hollywood, where men are either dangerous vicious monsters (even the "good guy") who blow up and shoot things, or fat worthless men whose only worth is their paycheck/alimony/child-support and are otherwise worthy of ridicule. Toss in a dose of "toxic masculinity" and "rape culture" for good measure.
Start by dosing boys up with Ritalin and other drugs at a young age for "ADHD", shame them for liking the things boys like and take them away (kickball, "unsafe" outdoor equipment, call the cops if they comment a sqrt() symbol looks like a gun, etc), take their fathers away, and watch it all roll forward from there.
Then by their mid 20s they've probably seen friends (if not themselves) go through the marriage/divorce wringer, saddled with payments for it, rejected for jobs by affirmative action... while women wonder "where have all the 'good' men gone?"

The War on Boys is also from women.
My son's fiance is totally onboard with this stuff. So are all her friends. The guys my son's age are not much different than me. I did meet Socialist guys in the Dem Party but they were pansies, and often retarded in some way; usually socially. The one thing socialist guys have in common is low status (low testosterone). These socialist women recognize that testosterone is key, which is why they are attacking masculinity and boy's expression of masculinity.

You are aware the women were nothing be chattel prior to the Equal Right Amendment in the 70’s? Women weren’t allowed to have their own bank accounts without signed permission from their husband’s consent?
So yeah the pendulum has swung in the opposite direction. And yeah boys should be outside burning off their restless energy and not strapped down to a chair for 6 hours of “schooling”. But our litigious nature created the ban from kickball, tag, cops&robbers/cowboys/indians like ye old days. Free range children like myself ended with “stranger danger/don’t touch where the bathing suit covers.”
So if you attend a college that has those types of courses and still pay the price of admission, kinda putting yourself in a bad spot don’t ya think?

Are you identifying college as the source of the contagion. There was a simultaneous rise in anti-masculinity, victimhood, and Socialism since the College Loan program started...

Meanwhile they go gaga over "50 shades" domination fantasy, which they've bred out of the feminized low-T men, so they want to open the borders to bring in "dominant" men from other cultures... hell, read any female romance novel, you think any of the male lead characters are low-T soy-boys? They "want" exactly the things they're breeding out of young men.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 4:59 amThe War on Boys is also from women.

Can’t put a finger on that directly. But in the 60’s and the 70’s women were attending college more than men (Vietnam War had a lot to do with that.) Radicals from Berkeley and the rest of the country thought that the Liberal Arts portion of college studies didn’t include all. So Black Studies we’re added, women’s studies were added, and so on and so on. And colleges used that as a marketing tool for larger enrollment versus providing the necessary courses to round out an educated mind.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 5:03 amAre you identifying college as the source of the contagion. Now mind you as a certified professional medical coder and auditor, I’m thoroughly dominated by women. Last I heard only 8-9% of men work in the field. So trust me, I’ve been that emotional punching bag when they are pissed off at their boyfriend/spouse/x-husband. And would never give advice on their problems. So for me the whole (‘me too’) movement is a sham. And too many women who know what the hell they’re doing gets talked down, berated, and outright verbally assaulted by male doctors who don’t know their elbow from their ass when it comes to medical-legal documentation. Geez wonder why their revenues suck.
It’s always complicated going from one extreme from other. The Clinton’s initiative from the 90’s to invest more time and effort into girls did pay off at the expense of boys. But what can I say? Boys are expected to do things on their own, while girls stick together for protection. Kinda of a disconnect don’t ya think?

Hastur has never lived under Socialism, a "safety net" does not equal Socialism, and I'm not even sure what "military mercenary tyrants" are, but can't see what good Socialism what do about it. Boogeyman terms are bad, sure, but maybe try and find out what something REALLY means, then, instead of deducing that :"If the bad guys say this is bad, it must really be good". In short, what you want is not Socialism... you just think that what you want is called that. Primarily because your right-wingers called things like welfare states "Socialist", as well.HarryK wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 4:42 amWe still need a safety net that socialism can provide. That makes sense. Women want control; they have recognized men’s greatest advantage, masculinity, so they attack it and suppress it on a society level. Evolutionarily, masculinity got us here so naturally its expression in the realm of entertainment appeals to women, like the expression of imaginary violence is entertaining to men.Ph64 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 5:05 amMeanwhile they go gaga over "50 shades" domination fantasy, which they've bred out of the feminized low-T men, so they want to open the borders to bring in "dominant" men from other cultures... hell, read any female romance novel, you think any of the male lead characters are low-T soy-boys?
