This is also a slippery slope too... if you read between the lines he is also making an excuse that there is no such thing as illegal aliens. So Immigration laws may become superfluous. If the liberals wish to make a case for it based off of this potential ruling.

I built an oil drum wood stove, pretty much the same thing, and if you are going to try this. Definitely think about putting in a door. It's super easy. The way I did mine, was I layed out my rectangle and my hinges. Then I used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel and cut along my line where the hinges went first. Then I drilled and installed hinges. Then cut out the rest of the door which was already attached to the hinges. Added a simple latch mechanism and it was done.

Just remember, the one I paid for and the one that you’d have to make are close to the same costs. A 50 gallon SS drum that hasn’t had contamination in it of any sort is between $50 to $120 before anything else.

Got mine for $25. It used to hold corn syrup. I had to burn off the vinyl protective coating inside but that was pretty easy. It produced some rocking BBQ.

it's probably an early 90's special edition. Has a white handle, which I hadn't seen before, in the original display box.
