From a personal standpoint, there's no point in agonizing over it. They're going to do it anyway, regardless of what I think/vote/do.Speaker to Animals wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:26 pmI think you do not really give a shit.SuburbanFarmer wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:23 pmDo you think because I see it coming, that I support it?Speaker to Animals wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:08 pm

If I had my way, we'd be Fortress America. But it's not going to happen until the Collapse.

The Case for Military Service Members Excellence compared to the general population of the US
Education
• Enlisted High School and some college – US Military(USM) 98% General Population (GP) 60%
• Bachelor Degree – USM 49%, GP 19%
• Advanced Degree – USM 43%, GP 9%
• http://www.businessinsider.com/face-the ... hic-2012-9
Intelligence
• IQ – USM 110(at least), GP 100
• The difference between a 100 and 110 IQ is huge. A 100 IQ is on the bottom cusp of being able to process written knowledge and build on it with experience. A 110 IQ is in the upper quarter of processing written knowledge and building on it with experience, plus ability to understand college level material.

Physical Fitness
• Obesity – USM 7.8% (which is too high), GP 70%
• Exercise, muscular strength and cardiovascular
o Less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day;2 only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week.3
o More than 80% of adults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities, and more than 80% of adolescents do not do enough aerobic physical activity to meet the guidelines for youth.
o Over 80% of military passes their physical fitness tests

Lifestyle, Medications and Ethical Moral behavior
• Must be U.S. citizen or legal foreign national
• No tattoos on fingers, neck or face
• No ear gauges
• No ADHD medication win the past 12 months
• No felony convictions
• No persistent illegal drug use
• No insulin-dependent diabetes
The Military is Tougher than College
• Nearly 70% of high school graduates entered college last year.
• Roughly 75% of young men and women of the ages of 17-24 would not be eligible for military service
• Responsibilities. In the military, young men and women are given great responsibilities that often have failure consequences that include injury or death, loss of millions of dollars of property and equipment, or mission failure. Nothing in college compares to that level of responsibility.
• Dicipline
• Stress Management
• Skills required and learned

Re: The Deep State
Selective bias.
Education - That GI bill is pretty sweet, eh bro?
IQ - the military only accepts IQ scores of >87 or so. THAT is the lower boundary of processing information, and accounts for the bottom few percent of the GP bell curve. Their IQ scores are the same (which is itself surprising)
Fitness - Self-explanatory. You don't need me to tell you why they'd be more fit.
However, your claim was genetic superiority - NATURALLY more fit people. I see nothing to back up that claim.
Then obviously, we can extrapolate that this is a selected population, and not 'naturally superior people'.
