The opposite of unity.
I.e. insomuch as you increase diversity, you decrease unity.
Full stop. That's the truth you are having trouble processing.

No, I very much understand that truth.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 3:48 pmThe opposite of unity.

Diversity strains unity.
My point is the more diverse you are but can overcome and still be united, the stronger you will be.
If two groups are both united, the more diverse one will triumph.

You won't be stronger, though. History is filled with examples that you are very, very wrong in the long run. If you were right, Christendom would still be strong. Crusades would not have disentegrated. Greek cities would not have destroyed one another. Austria-Hungary would still be a thing, and it would not have slashed Western civilization's throat when it's multiculturalism dragged the world into global war. The Soviet Union would not have disbanded into warring republics. Yugoslavia would still exist rather than ending in genocides. Rwanda would not have ended in genocides. South Africa would not be carrying out a genocide right now.
History is one big testament to how wrong you are here. This is one of the strongest themes in history. Even God wants to keep kind with kind.

All of those divisions were caused by ethnic diversity? Do you realize how incredibly stupid that sounds?Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:57 pmYou won't be stronger, though. How long do you think the Austrian-Hungarian empire lasted? 50 years? Guess again.
The Roman Empire didn’t last 1000 years because it was homogenous.
Kids these days. Read the first chapter on the Punic wars and skip the rest.
It lasted because when it needed to it could adapt.
Call on illyrians to save it.

Call on Christians to save it

Call on Macedonians to save it

Call on Isaurians to save it

The homogenous was destroyed.
The Catholic Church is similar.
St Paul (Jewish) and St Augustine (Numidian) and st Thomas Aquanous (Italian) and St Gerome (Illyrian) are very different cultures.

I seem to remember refugees, porous borders, and hordes of muslims being somehow involved in that.
