Seemed like a very likable guy, but he was nothing more than the typical limousine liberal.

His whole show was based on the assumption you had the money and time available to explore our beautiful world. Plus, he is a celebrity. No everyday citizen would be treated the same as someone walking around with a camera crew.

I'd like to see someone go to the ghettos of the world at night and tell us again how wonderful everyone is.

I was not enthralled with Bourdain, didn't watch that many episodes, but one really caught my attention.

Being Creative and Crazy is not new to the world. Many artists, if not most have their minds on wild shit most of their lives. So, Bourdain's mental illness is not schocking, drug addiction and Liberal Politics is pretty much to be expected.

Damn, those knives are amazing.

See, he thinks the American dream is being anywhere else but America. That is how much he hates the country. You ain't ever escaping here you might as well escape like Bourdain did.
He enjoyed tasting food from all cultures. I assume that you have no passport and never eat anything not native to America. Too bad, you are missing out on some amazing Italian, Mexican, French, Vietnamese, Cuban, Venezuelan, Brazilian, Chinese, Japanese foods... there's a lot more, but since you don't do anything not American, it's not important.
Listen woman I was not referring to Bourdain, I was referring to dirty dick. Boudain left sure, but he always came back cept for that one time when he didn't.

You had the chance to mourn over the weekend now you will bask in the heat of the woken ones, the SJW left, who will give their hot take. His entire career and reason for existence was "cultural appropriation"
My culture is not your fucking TV show.
and the dirty dicks and english faggots of the world will backtrack, halfheartedly appologize and mutter some weak excuse under their breath while voting for the people they had to kowtow to. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.

Yeah. It's a great piece. It takes talent to put all that together.

Like I said, I don't have much of an opinion on Bourdain, wasn't a fan, I saw his show as very typical of human interest stories of the late 70s and early 80s.

Based on some of our members like BroGrump's love for the guy, I'll watch more episodes. I'll take his comments as a recommendation.

Going to ghettos at night. That was kind of his thing, in the third world. He’d seek out street food, and get people to invite him home for dinners etc.

Yes, it’s not something that I would ever attempt, but I got to see a lot of brilliant cooking, and see the cultures of the world - the real ones, away from the tourist shit.

You said KY was spewing ignorance. He's right, though. You & I couldn't go to those places without security. How does that make him ignorant?

It’s clear that he never watched the show, or understands what Bourdain was doing. He was never “elitist” in even the vaguest sense of the term. He was working-class eyes on the world - both the top and the bottom of it.

He dined in the finest, most exclusive restaurants on earth, and are raw buffalo guts with tribesmen in Africa. He didn’t ‘assume’ anything of the viewer, except that they were mostly American.
