Can we retro-actively impeach the last 2 administrations that declared war without Congressional approval?
Two? Congress hasn't used it's war powers since WWII... Korea, Vietnam .... every one since. No act of war.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

My point being that it’s probably a nothing-burger. This would be a HUGE win if they found some way to enforce it, but that horse is bolted.

Insanity is getting your hopes up for the government to regulate itself.

What’s the best case scenario? A strongly-worded motion that it’s naughty to have an unchecked executive?

Okie and StA are outliers, or abominations, depending on your viewpoint.
And it's highly unlikely they'd be on the platform dropping the guillotine or herding political opponents on the gulag train.
I was about to post the same thing as Monte. Seems most of the things that “the lefties” get accused of, are ideas in the “righties” minds. Funny how that works.
Idiots, "would it make you happy if we weren't here?"

Us, "fuck yes it would"

Idiots, "OMG they want to kill us"

There are more than a hundred million graves that attest to how much better the world would be without you feckless cunts.

I know there's a lot of veterans on board and I believe you are one of them. I listened to the Tim Kennedy JRE episode and liked it. In any case in your opinion and (any evidence you can provide) is the military overall facing recruitment problems? He was alleging is was primarily b/c kids are overweight, on drugs, or lack motivation. What say you?

Also are there just as many valid reasons to keep the military all volunteer as there are for using draftees? Seems like conscripts are usually only needed when we are in an all out total war, no?

The time for discussing what should happen was before.

We're seventeen years in, and the majority response to critiquing this absolute moral failure is a resounding, "fuck you."

We've long passed the point where the no-society has any claim to deserving a say in the matter. What we need now is a draft to send everyone from the no-society to the north pole to defend against the white walkers and think about what they've done. Seventeen years oughta be about right.

I don't wish any ill on any of you.

I hope you live long happy lives, and your get to live a happy retirement, and your children grow up to be doctors and lawyers and scientists, and you take great joy in your grandbabies I hope your marriages work out, you find that love of your life and they stay. When you pass, you pass on to the next world surrounded by your families, or peacefully in your sleep, but you leave the world with a sense of fulfillment and contentment.

At which point you'll stop voting and stop fucking up the world.
