Wish she’d had a pithier observation than that, if her goal was cancellation.

Pithy doesn't garner that much outrage because the idiots baying for blood won't know to be outraged. And one tweet to do that no, she had a couple of months to be difficult and get cancelled the fact that she did it in one tweet that's talent.

No. That part was a joke. I was talking about Joe McCarthy who claimed that Marxists had indeed thoroughly infiltrated Hollywood.
The proof of it is in the business decisions that obviously forgo profit for the advancement of cultural Marxism, or the silencing of its criticism. They operate under political considerations, not business considerations. It isn't about money. It's about ideology and the long march.
I will, however, grant that there exist LOTS of opportunists who ride the baggage train of the long march for personal gain. But they can only do this because the power for now rests in the hands of the Marxist ideology and not capitalism.
Imagine, for instance, the oil industry making business decisions like this. It's unthinkable. But we have grown used to the Marxists controlling the media and Hollywood, so we don't think twice about it, but they really don't operate for the pursuit of profit as their motivating factor.

Meh, Roseanne was constantly in trouble for saying wild shit back in the day. ABC knew what they were getting with her.clubgop wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 1:42 pmShe doesn't want it. 18 months ago they canceled Tim Allen's hit Last Man Standing because of politics, now they are killing their No 1 show, the Roseanne Reboot for the same reason

Fox picked up Last Man Standing for the Fall due to Fan support, I hope someone snatches up Roseanne too and ABC gets another lesson in the Free Market.

Yes, and they know the ratings she was getting wouldn't be sustained. She know that too. TV execs have a ratio, how much shit do I have to endure, that is x, for ratings, that is y. Y would have dwindled, x wouldn't.
