ABC can run their company however they want, but it looks pretty damn foolish.
18 months ago they canceled Tim Allen's hit Last Man Standing because of politics, now they are killing their No 1 show, the Roseanne Reboot for the same reason

Fox picked up Last Man Standing for the Fall due to Fan support, I hope someone snatches up Roseanne too and ABC gets another lesson in the Free Market.
Crickets when Fox cancelled Lucifer.
??? 3 Seasons AND low ratings on the "bonus episodes." This is conflation.

Last Man Standing was No. 2 for ABC when it was canceled and there was no Roseanne type comment to blame. Roseanne was No. 1 when it was canceled. Sound like they have money to burn and better talent in the wings......................... Yippidy Do for ABC.

I bet the execs at ABC were thrilled to see Rosanne make a stupid comment like that so they had an excuse to can the show. That was a really dumb thing to say, no matter the person or the reasoning.

Yeah to me, it looks like Roseanne didn't want a season 2 for a reboot. She wanted one season to wrap it up they way she wanted to 2 decades ago and thereafter was going to sabotage any possible dragging this out before you drain all the life out of it. Always leaving wanting more. She knew what she was doing.

The economics of Hollywood really did that show in, I am not arguing politics didn't play a part but the economics there absolutely justified ABC's decision.

She doesn't want it. The more I think of it the more convinced of this I am.
