Which is why I question if you read the thread. This entire thread is about Seattle's spending billions to make their situation worse. It's literally the entire point of this thread.

That is what I said, but I have never stated I was against taxes on a company. I am arguing against the idea that the tax is going to chase Amazon out of town, or that people need to be too concerned about spooking the 'job creators.' That is what the thread seems to be about, based on the title.

If you just want to say 'tax is theft' you don't need all the window dressing.

I thought the problem was about golden geese, and their strangulation, not about the morality of a tax.

If you just want to say 'tax is theft,' then just title the thread, "Geese doing fine, but, by the way, tax is theft."

If the taxes IMPROVE the situation the money was intended to fix, you'll get no complaint from me. The money was used to make the problem worse. They could have kept the situation as is without spending any money. Is this hard to understand?

Choices:

1. We can keep our situation as is for free
2. We can make our situation worse for millions.


Why is choice 2 the better option, in your opinion?

I am actually beginning to see the light of this "failed" city planning. Everyone wants White people in their cities. They make great tax mules and generally make for nice neighbors. Amazon is Anti White and will bring a flood of low skilled beaners and Pajeet "techs" to the area and generally lower property value. By disincentivizing Amazon with their hordes of brown people from moving in and destroying budding Hipster communities, Seattle is actually playing the long game for when the Pacific Northwest becomes the future ethno state. Well played liberals. Well played. Even liberals know that liberalism begins and ends with White people.

Like I said, it isn't an argument for more taxes, it is arguing that spooking off Amazon is probably less of a concern than the OP is suggesting.
