People who bake their own bread, for instance. Not those kinds of whisks, but something similar.

I’ve never actually had need of a whisk. It just makes a mess when scrambling eggs.

Who told you a whisk is the best way to scramble eggs? That's a silly way to use a whisk, really. It's too messy. Whisks are awesome, though. I have two, because one is usually in the dishwasher.GrumpyCatFace wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 6:35 pmI’ve never actually had need of a whisk. It just makes a mess when scrambling eggs.

I figured you had some non food use for a whisk that I don’t want to know about.Kath wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 7:50 pmWho told you a whisk is the best way to scramble eggs? What do you actually use it for then? It’s too flimsy for batter, and you can use a fork or blender for custard.Kath wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 7:50 pmWho told you a whisk is the best way to scramble eggs? Bakers use it. The finer ones are used to make ingredients like meringues. Meringue is simple in theory. It's just egg whites, sugar, and vanilla. But depending upon the utensils used, and even what kind of bowl, your mileage will vary -- a lot. The handheld mixer in a copper bowl is the way to go, though.

Haven't found a way to perv out a whisk, yet, but if I do, I'll be sure to not let you know about it.
