I do think mechanized soldiers could be a game changer on the who loyalty of mercenaries angle.

Sorry, man. I know, "ain't so far away," can mean a lot of things, but I feel pretty confident that we aren't close to it at all. Remote controlled machines and AI are not the same thing. AI soldiers is something a long long ways away. AI burger flippers is something a long long way away.
