And Danes or Scandinavians are different than Germans ethnically?
Yes, we are. Both linguistically and culturally we are and consider ourselves different, both from Germans and from each other within Scandinavia. While all three of the Scandinavian languages (not including Finnish) are Germanic languages, they are North Germanic, whereas German, Frisian, Dutch and English are West Germanic.

Are Finns a Slavic people or Scandinavian?
Neither. They belong to the so-called Uralic language family together with Hungarians. Unlike the Germanic, Slavic, Romance and Iranian languages, which all are part of the Indo-European language family.

Are the Uralic people originally from Hungarian steppe and later settled in Finland for some reason?

FFS Monte Britain is not a nation of immigrants like countries in the New World. You're a distinct genetic group.
Hell, I can even tell when people look British, just like I can tell if people are of Irish, Italian, German, Polish, etc decent.
We are a nation of immigrants, that's why we no longer speak Celtic as our first language. It's just that our immigrants/invaders have come over a period of at least 2000 years.
We are not a distinct genetic group, you will find the same genes all over central and Northern Europe.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
