The upper middle class dream is still very achievable. That is my whole point.
To be clear, I am not saying there weren't hurdles and difficulties for boomers and gen-x. Just different hurdles. Millennials are just figuring out what their specific challenges are going to be, and how to overcome them.

so I just lived my own life without being part of a hive mind
I thought I was doing great, because I had young pretty girls wanting to be my lover and take care of me
it was only after I got married that I even conceived of the destination I have arrived at
Computers are bad. Make you give up.
That pretty much concludes my thoughts on generational antagonism.
although my marriage was a love at first sight whirlwind romance
the first few years were a honeymoon phase, we didn't really have a plan
it just came to a head because my wife wanted her fully detached home, and that was unaffordable in the city
then we started making a plan, to live like the rich at middle class prices, by moving to undervalued property
the wave has arrived here now mind you, there's a semi detached across the street for sale
asking price is $600,000, that's Toronto prices arriving here now
