All of the "carbon" solutions are crap. If you want the Climate-Deniers on-board, alternatives must be on the table. I'll offer up some:
1) Plan for what's coming.
2) Go nuclear (nationalized, not private).
3) Nationalize fuel-cell technology.
4) Sell/exchange/trade/share these & other vital technologies with all nations.
5) Don't exchange liberty or freedom for security.
