We are currently victims of tradition in education, and convenience, but that's changing.

I believe public education as we know it is well on its way to collapsing. The system is too out of touch, too slow and too top heavy.

The largest line item in anyone's taxes is public education, and adults want change while the protectionists of the system double down.

We've gotten to a point where far too many teachers think they get to make parental decisions about students, going so far as to believe they decide what is good for students.

I'm going to enjoy watching the collapse, which ultimately will be due to economics.

I think when the education money that is currently attached to the student can be used however the family wants, including home-schooling, will be the canary; there will probably still be teachers unions.

Honestly, I think the Teachers Union will outlast Public Education. It won't have any power, but it will remain.

That is such a crazy thought to me. They are hand in glove. No public education why the need for a union? Interesting.

We still have thousands of unions in the US, and they don't hardly matter at all. No Union is standing up for US workers from laborers being replaced by Latin illegal aliens to tech workers being replaced by East Indian workers.

Unions are solidly locked in with the Democrats. The Democrats with corporate boardrooms. Which makes Unions useless to workers, but still key in controlling voting.

There’s always going to be public education, probably the majority of students. That’s the socialist mindset so most women will still prefer it.
