No internet means no gas being pumped, no water, sewage would stop flowing and backup, production of all kinds relies more and more on the internet. Would planes fall from the sky, maybe. Secruity systems wouldn't work. Many cities would face mass looting.

It means cash talks and the rest walks.

We get that out here probably 3-4 times a year where the power will go out and come back on but the local stores go full on Cash Only because their systems haven't reconnected. I think that the longest that we have been without power has been around 10 hours or so. Nevermind if some goof hits a pole and plunges half the island into darkness. HAHAHA

Wouldn’t affect me much put in the sticks, but I can’t imagine the level of chaos in a major city. That’s about the same as grid down at this point - gangs rule the streets.
