Good one.
Yeah, it's hard to see the ultra wealthy stepping in to change a system that has assisted them in becoming ultra wealthy. From WalMart's subsidized (welfare) workforce to Amazon's sweetheart deals with the USPS - they wouldn't bite the hand that feeds them.

Maybe Dr. Dre could do it.
Or Jay-Z.
One of the rare, rare billionaires that made it without government nepotism playing a major role.

But you know how much government bankrolling Elon Musk gets?
He's probably not the one.

the problem being that the Super Wealthy are inherently anti-Liberty

power corrupts, monopoly power is too much of an imperative for the Super Wealthy

they are inherently disposed to divide & conquer, and Liberty is not conducive to those means

the left has exploited the Super Wealthy desire for authoritarian control, by fusing it to Hegelianism, to wit, Techno-Utopia

Elon Musk for example, even if a bit of a maverick, is clearly an Hegelian Progressive Techno-Utopian at heart

I'd be interested to see the number of billionaires that made it with government contracts, legislation favoring them and harming their competitors, or special tax breaks.

There's an awful lot of overlap between the ultra wealthy and political leaders.
How different are they, really?
They move fluidly between positions of power and corporate boards, regularly.

the problem with the rebellion model, is that rebellions are effected against centralized authority

but in this case it's more of a decentralized Brave New World style mass pathology

the constant immersion in social media leading to a mass narcissistic personality disorder across broad swaths of the population

so it's more like Zombies than it is Stormtroopers, and there is no Zombie central command for a rebellion to overthrow

I would submit that the institutions are all destroyed by now and they are never coming back

the America we knew is gone already, the collapse has already happened

they will burn these institutions to the ground eventually, the wrath of God being an inherent outcome of the false idolatry

so there is no point in rebelling against a suicide pact, it's like Jonestown on an exponential scale

the powers that be are rebelling against their own ideologies and bringing themselves down

it's a sinking ship not a central authority, so rebellion is of no particular utility

I would say that revival is the only applicable model, if Liberty can be preserved through this civilizational collapse in some sort of Ark

now, even if you are going to have a rebellion of the wealthy in America

that follows a certain deeply ingrained model

it's the Kings of Virginia vs the British Crown

then the Kings of Virginia vs the Glorious Union

there is only one type of rebellion in America, and they call that a Confederacy

Deo Vindice is the nature of American rebels, it's a Cavalier class of Protestant Christian Evangelicals from Dixie

to include the Original Virginia Seceshe George Washington, and his protege Marse Robert

while Lincoln is the patron saint of the Union

the patron saint of the American rebels is of course and always will be Lt. General Thomas Jonathan Jackson

no other leader is required other than Christ himself
